Potters now complain that customers prefer cheaper electrical lighting .The diya business has now sharply declined."  ↑こんなにたくさんの小さな器は何に使うかわかりますか〜？

陶芸というと、

電動ろくろでシャーっと

器を成形している姿をイメージする人が

多いですが、

陶芸教室に行くと、

まずは、

「てびねりから」

と言われることがほとんどだと思います。

机の上においた

ろくろを手で回して

使います。

どうしても回ってる時間は短く、

何度も力をこめて回す事になります。

自動で回ってくれないかなーと

思うわけですが、

電気がなければ

どうなるか！？

棒を使ってろくろを高速に回している動画が

上部のインスタです。

インドでは、ディワリというお祭りのために、

今でもこの方法で灯明にする器を作っているそうです。
